This year, I have seen tremendous growth for Burn Bright Productions. I filmed 4 weddings in the last 6 months, produced 5 videos for a local band, hit 100 followers on Instagram and Facebook, went from 12 to 40 subscribers on YouTube, made a Burn Bright tik tok account and experimented with YouTube Shorts (which are actually doing really well). I also had my most financially successful year so far. I tripled my income from 2021 and actually came out with a profit after calculating my expenses from this year. I was able to put the majority of my income back into by business through buying new equipment and paying for advertising.
While this might not seem like huge progress to some, this is a big deal for me. I've learned so much this year about how to run a business like how to talk to clients, writing contracts, figuring out the best pricing for my services, marketing and advertising, business insurance, you name it. The work I've done on my business has definitely paid off and I plan to work even harder next year!
My goals for 2023:
6-8 weddings
2 music videos
1 commercials/promotional video
Sell stock footage
Buy new equipment (maybe a drone finally??)
I'd love to experiment with stop motion and maybe have a stop motion video project this year
Post regularly on tik tok and YouTube shorts
Write 1 blog post a month
